Sabrina Villaseñor is an Mexican artist with an extensive
international background. She graduated in Industrial
Design at the prestigious Universidad Iberoamericana in
Mexico City, attended the Escuela de Diseño ELISAVA in
Barcelona, Spain. She also studied at Surikov Institute
Fine Arts Academy of Moscow .
Upon her return to Mexico she took a three year course
of drawing and painting at the Centro Cultural de Arte
Contemporáneo. Has participated in several workshops
led by such well-known Mexican artists as Luis Nishizawa,
Jose Luis Cuevas, Benjamín Domiguez among others.

Sabrina has entered the pathway into the past,
appropiating forms and figures from pre-hispanic
cultures, applying her own pictorical language. She plays
with shapes and colors, giving them elasticity through
various materials, such as oil,pastels, inks, charcoal,steel,
aluminium, collages and textures.

She has participated in many exhibitions, both collective
as well as individual in various countries such as in
Toronto, Canada, New York USA, San Diego, USA , as well
as in various cities of Mexico. Her works form part of
several international collections.

She won first place in the 13th Poster Competition for the
International Film Festival at the Cineteca Nacional in
Mexico City.
